π³ Devlog #12 β New Axes! π³πͺ
πͺ New Axes
The Chains Axe generates a chain with each hit, hitting multiple resources in a row.
The Fortune Axe grants random wood with every strike, making resource gathering more unpredictable and exciting.
The Gigant Axe is a massive axe built for heavy chopping and high impact.
The Hammer Axe smashes resources in a wide 3Γ3 area, perfect for clearing clusters quickly.
The Lucky Axe deals random damage ranging from 0 up to 6Γ the pickaxe damage, adding an element of surprise to each hit.
The Row Axe hits five resources in the direction of your strike, making it ideal for linear chopping.
The Tunnel Axe hits another resource randomly, giving you a chance to gather extra materials with each swing.
Finally, the Cross Axe hits in a cross pattern, allowing you to hit multiple resources both horizontally and vertically.
π‘ Each axe is mechanically unique and adds new ways to approach gathering and progression.
For now, there are no dedicated visuals — Iβm still a solo developer, so all axes currently share the same basic model.
But in the future, I plan to work with an artist to create proper 2D art and unique designs for each one! π¨
