🪓 Devlog #2 – New Axes and Save Progression 🌳
Hey everyone! 👋
This week’s update focuses on two major additions that make your progression feel smoother and more rewarding — new axes and a save system!
🔨 New Axes System
I’ve added several new axes, each with its own stats and unique visual style:

Axe – basic, but gets the job done.

Super Axe – faster chopping speed.

Hyper Axe – durable and efficient.

Double Axe – now you’re a real lumberjack.
Each upgrade feels stronger and looks distinct, giving you a real sense of progression as you gather resources and expand your village.
💡 You can now buy new axes in the Axe Shop tab once you’ve gathered enough wood!
💾 Save & Load System
No more losing progress between sessions!
You can now save your game state — including your current axe tier, collected resources, and upgrades — and load it seamlessly when you return.
This feature is a big technical milestone, and it lays the foundation for future improvements like autosave and multiple save slots.
